Cancellations, Charges & Refunds Policies

Below are policies for Hotel and Dining Outlets.


Hotel Reservations:
Please make advance reservations via telephone or book online to assure room availability.
 
A credit card number or cash deposit may be required to obtain a confirmed reservation. Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.
 
Rates may change without notice and may vary for special events except for confirmed reservations.
 
All rates are subject to occupancy taxes as mandated law.
 
We use the word “booking” similarly to mean “reservation”. The word “guest” is meant to represent our customer, which may include “you”, as a customer/patron at Guam Plaza.

Gift Certificates or similar vouchers, are  honored for Room Reservations based on availability. Original Gift Certificates must be presented by the Guest upon check-in.

Preauthorization on the guest's credit card is held for sum of the total of stay (entire reservation period) Plus, US$100.00 security deposit is required. If the guest is not using a credit card for payment, cash deposit may be required.

 

Occupancy:
Normal occupancy is for two people per room. Additional person (if room size permits) may warrant an additional charge.




Dining:
 
  • All Prices are subject to 10% Service Charge

  • The term "Customer" is defined as the person making the reservation; Customer is the only person allowed to make changes to reservation

  • We will contact you to reconfirm prior to service date. Kindly ensure your e-mail and phone number are up-to-date. Should we not receive a response to reconfirm, your reservation will be auto-canceled without notice

  • We have a 10-minute grace period. Please call us at 671-649-7760 if you are running later than 10-minutes after your reservation time

  • Decorations: Strictly no outside decorations allowed

  • Outside Food & Beverages: In accordance to USDA and GCA Finance & TaxationCh3 Alcoholic Beverage Control (P.L.22-80:2) guidelines all restaurant outlets do not allow outside food or beverages

  • Menu items: Some menu items may be substituted due to item availability at Chefs’ discretion without notice.

  • Removal of Food *Applies to buffets: We do not permit food from the restaurants to be taken out of hotel/restaurant property

  • Consumer Advisory:  Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness. Individuals with certain health conditions may be at higher risk if these foods are consumed raw or undercooked.

  • Food Allergy Notice:  Food prepared in our restaurant may contain the following ingredients: milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts. If you have a food allergy, please notify your server

  • Safety and security: Adults must accompany minors at all times while on hotel/restaurant property. We are not responsible for any injury due to negligence

  • Damages or Stolen items: Restaurant is not responsible for items stolen or damaged if causedbycustomer, customer's guests or by other patrons

  • We reserve the right to correct errors on both before and after bookings have been confirmed, should need to make a significant changes to your reservation, we will inform you as soon as possible




 
Hotel Cancellation and Early Checkout Policy:
Should guest’s plans change, be sure to inform us within the following guidelines. 
 
For early checkout, the guest is responsible for the entire reservation and will be charged as such if the remainder of the reservation cannot be rebooked. 
 
When a guest cancels a booking and are entitled to a refund, we will process the refund right away. The processing will take between 2-4 weeks until the entire amount is reflected in the guest’s credit card statement. Any holds on the guest’s credit card would be released.
 
If a reservation is released 48 (Forty Eight) Hours prior to the guest’s arrival, the guest will not be charged any amount. The guest would need to request the reservation to be released in a timely manner to avoid being charged. A One-Night Penalty Charge for same-day cancellations or no shows will be applicable. It is the responsibility of the guest to convey any changes in plans to Guam Plaza, cancel reservations, and make changes in reservations, while keeping and maintain proof of such correspondence with Guam Plaza.


 
Non-arrival at the Hotel (No Show):
If the guest fails to arrive at the hotel on the arrival date and has not communicated with the hotel about such non-arrival, the entire reservation will be cancelled automatically by the hotel and the guest will be charged the cost of the entire reservation.
 
If the guest fails to check-in on the first date but still plans to stay at the hotel, the guest should contact us so that we can keep the room for the guest for the rest of the reservation. Otherwise, as mentioned above, the entire reservation will be auto-cancelled and no refund will be issued.

Shorten Stay (Early Check-out):
Shorten stay is subject to whole period charge whether or not the guest stays the whole period.
 
If the guest has change in plans, we encourage the guest to contact us as early as possible to minimize the charges.


 
Payment Security:
It is important for guests to know that whenever the guest provides us with personal details or credit card information, it is secure. Guests’ credit card numbers, names, addresses, and telephone numbers are protected by robust and compliant security technology. Guam Plaza does not store guests’ credit cards’ details in its online booking engine software.



Gift Certificates:
Gift Certificates may be purchased online. However, the hard copy of the gift certificates need to be picked up at the Front Desk at Guam Plaza Hotel.

  • Rootz Hill’s Grillhouse
 
Gift Certificates purchased online through any of our websites, would need to be picked up by the customer at our front desk, in Guam Plaza Hotel, between the hours of 8 am – 5 pm. Hard copies of the Gift Certificates would be provided to the customer during pick up. Gift Certificates are not available in any digital format. 
 
Gift Certificate Purchase’s Terms & Conditions:
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
  • Gift Certificate expires 5 years from the date if issue. 
  • Gift Certificate may be used at any of the locations/outlets listed here.
  • Gift Certificates issued fraudulently or in error are void.
  • Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.
  • We reserve the right to make any changes at any time without prior notice.
